A Happy New Year
When we think about the new year, most of us think of the superficial resolutions and goals that we want to accomplish. Whether it be weight loss, exercise, finances or whatever you feel needs attention. Have you allowed a negative attitude to infect your spirit? Is there a relationship that needs to be mended, nurtured or renewed? What's holding you back from enjoying Every Day of your life?
What does your soul long for? Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
If you look in the Concordance under “New” you find:
Psalm 40:3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the Lord.
Ecclesiastes 1:9 The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.
Isaiah 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
Jeremiah 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah.
Ezekiel 36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
Matthew 9:17 Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.
Luke 22:20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.

Ephesians 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

I challenge you to meditate on the word and think about what your inner spirit is in need of.
